Acorn Holiday Challenge Exceeds Goals

Acorn Paper Products Co. one of the largest independent paper and packaging companies in the Western United States exceeded the goals set to has challenge the Los Angeles community this holiday season to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate.

Acorn Paper Products CEO, David Weissberg issued a two-part challenge to Acorn Paper Products employees, customers and the Los Angeles community to donate 400 pounds of canned food to benefit the LA Regional Food Bank and at least 10 boxes of toys to benefit Cedars-Sinai’s Department of Pediatrics. Acorn Paper tracked the individual efforts of each participant company on their Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter pages each week so that the entire community could actively monitor and participate in the progress. As an extra incentive, Weissberg offered a lunch catered for up to 40 people to be provided to the two companies who filled up the highest number of boxes during the 2013 Acorn Holiday Challenge
