Acorn Paper Products Co. one of the largest independent paper and packaging companies in the Western United States has partnered with Chinese printing giant Kaitat Printing Group in attempts to increase overseas packaging capabilities.

The joint venture between Acorn Paper Products and Kaitat Printing Group has been established in order to meet the growing demand for international products and services in the packaging arena. The new manufacturing facility will include many new and innovative capabilities such as the ability to manufacture folding cartons with inline foil, UV protection and four color prints. With more than 250 employees, and the help of an in-house design and engineering lab, the new facility will also be able to manufacture setup boxes, thermo formed trays and e-flute laminations. Both organizations look forward to providing customers worldwide with high quality, low cost, and constant opportunity for innovation in relation to their packaging needs.
